Carcassonne is a board game named after a city in southern France, known for the plentiful medieval age fortresses and such. This is a simple tile-laying game which difficulty can be adjusted depending on who's playing.
As such there is no fixed board for this game. Instead, players will take turns laying tiles together like they were making a jigsaw puzzle so a new world is created each and every time. Because of this, the replay value of this game is almost limitless.
The main objective when playing this game is to develop your kingdom by deploying tiles that correspond to roads, cities, fields, and many more. As your kingdom grows, you can place more followers in these places.
The more developed your kingdom is, the higher chances you have of winning. In this sense, Carcassonne is very similar to another board game- Settlers of Catan. This game is easy to learn, but is more complex than it seems at first glance.
It is recommended that 2-5 players play this game at one time, and the playing time per game is usually 30 to 40 minutes. Both children and adults will have fun playing the game together, and playing this is a good way to spend time with your family and friends. The game is also very educational as it teaches you critical thinking and strategy skills that you can use in real life.
